Zili

     Born in Larissa, starting at age of 5 years classical ballet, modern dance and folk dances, with excellent discrimination in many activities.At the age of 14 she choreographed (modern dance) the performance of her school on poems of Nikos Kavvadia. During her professional studies in England she worked with modern dance. In 2001 she returned to Athens and started learning Jazz, Latin and European dances. She holds the professional teaching degree  "Associate of the IDTA" (International Dance Teacher Association) in Latin with eight distinctions, 7 gold medals and one silver medal at national championships. In 2003-2004 she attended theater classes and took part in a dance-theater performances (The madness of SAGIA).From 2010 till now, she is teaching tango in Larissa and in other cities of Greece.She is a dancing couple with her husband Rafail.

Zili & Rafail 

     During 2005-2010 Zili & Rafail, while they were living in Athens, they started attending lessons as a dancing couple. They studied among the best teacher of Argentine Tango in Greece and  they still attending seminars around the world with the great masters of the genre.

In 2010 they moved in Larissa and since then,  they have been giving lessons in Larissa, Lamia, Trikala and Karditsa. In 2017 they founded the Cultural group TangoLarissa, where they are doing their lessons and the milongas.They have participated in many festivals, seminars, performances and cultural events in Greece and abroad. Some of the most important are: 7th Tango Festival Patras 2019, TangoLovers Festival 2016,Tango Weekend Rethymno-Chania 2015, Pa Bailar Tango Argentino Festival Preveza 2014, Rethymno Tango Weekend 2014, Rosso Tango Art Festival 2013 (Cagliari-Sardenia), Athens Tango Festival 2012 (Athens), Greece Tango Festival 2012 (Thessaloniki), Lesvos Tango Meeting 2012 (Lesvos), Grand Live Milonga with Beltango 2012 (Thessaloniki)...

     They stand out for their particular style that they have developed in their dance, combining harmony,  elegance, speed and musicality. The lessons are fun and structured in such a way that the students reach their maximum potential. Apart from improving the tango technique of the dancers,they pay particular attention to the connection between the couple, with respect to the tradition and the codes of Tango Argentino.

   They are the organisers of: Milonga TangoLarissa in Larissa, Tango Escape to Plastiras Lake and co-organisers of Mythos Tango Marathon.They  have also organised the  Tango Encuentro to Litochoro, Milonga Del Corazon in Trikala and Panthessaliki Milonga, an event exclusively dedicated  to Argentine Tango, co-organised by groups of the four Provinces of Thessaly ( Larisa, Trikala, Karditsa, Volos, Almyros Volou) in order to promote the Argentine Tango in Thessaly.
